God please no I don't speak.........

on stage in front of people! Third grade Mary Poppins forgot all the lines my speaking in public went out the window that day.
This week we lost a co-worker and today was his funeral. He was African America and their funerals are like what you see on TV loud praising, loud music and I love it! I knew what to expect I lost a friend in high school he was murdered and so that was not my first experience with that their kind of funeral beautiful. I would like to say there is no right or wrong way to funeral as long as it fits the person and you are celebrating there life and praising GOD! So for the record I want mine loud and full of music that is what I love and praising my wonderful GOD.
So they opened up for remarks on his life no one came the pastor sang. I keep hearing God get up and say something. No let someone else I am looking at my co-workers please one of you get up there and say something. Nope they just stared back at me. I asked one want to go up there No she said. I think they were a little in shock (not sure if that is the right word) of what they had just seen and heard.
So one lady goes up and speaks about him and his life. God in my ear get up and go up there no one else is going to go. Fine I will get up there all I remember is looking at his wife and saying On the behalf of Prmuis and myself I would just like to say are heart and prayers are with you. Our hallways and shop are not the same with out him so quite. He is so missed. Not sure what else I said but I did what GOD wanted and I am glad he kept talking to me to get me up there. Because it was important for his family to know how much we cared and loved him!
So to Rodney you are now looking down on us you are so missed at Walden's it is so quite with out you. They had the garage door opened on Wednesday when I came to work and the first thought was you. You were always there with some kind of smart comment that I would have to give you a smart comment back. Boy how I do miss that! When we go walking on breaks you were there again to gives a hard time. Rest In Peace Someday and we will see you again. Boo:)

Thank You God for talking to me and giving me the courage to get up there and speak.

Really hits home you never know when your time will come. So enjoy life and be happy!

God Bless everyone and hopefully I will be back to posting we have had cheerleading and vacation and not a lot of computer time!

I bet you were a comfort to Rodney's family. See you tomorrow at church with a bowl of blackberry cobbler, so stop in the classroom if you want it. :)
