Well McKenna received a letter from her cousin Haiden asking her to be her pen pal. So McKenna wrote her back and told her yes she would be her pen pal!
What amazed me is that McKenna didn't know how to address an envelope. I guess learning that went out the window with email and on line bill pay. Well I taught her she does know how to address an envelope!
Well McKenna and Haiden have Daddy/Uncle Jeff by their little fingers. There isn't anything he wouldn't do for these two girls! He went looking for a pen pal kit for the girls. Well again technology has changed and there is no pen pal kits that he could find. So he went web surfing and found a BLOG that showed how to make one! I just laughed he gives me a hard time about my blog. I said well look what you can find from a blog!
So we got to work and made these cute little pen pal boxes for the girls for Christmas. We filled them with paper,pen,stickers,envelopes and pencils. They love them. As I type this I need to get McKenna letter out to Haiden soon!
