The evening of 3/24/11, day 3/25/11, day 3/26/11

Jeff and I were on cloud nine. I loved watching Jeff take care of little Zyler and me. He is such a good hubby and father. It was funny though it was like we were new parents all over again. We laughed and laughed which is hard with a c section.

Pretty flowers we got on the left from are church Friendship and on the right from are work.

After all our wonderful guest had come and gone. We sent Zyler to the nursery to get some sleep. We never did this with the other two kids but this time we felt we need too. Little did we know there would be no sleep nurse came in about 11 and took out catheter and then it was on from there to go to the bathroom. Oh the joys I wasn't feeling any pain thanks to some heavy pain meds! But about 1:30 nurse said I can flush out some of the pain meds to get you to go to bathroom. I said great let's do it but she said you will feel pain didn't care. I have a pretty high tolerance of pain anyways. That's why I was little worried have baby only a week before due date. I could be in labor and won't know it because the pain wouldn't be what I would think as labor.
So nurse flushed out pain meds and I finally went to bathroom. Then I got some sleep not much because they keep checking on you. But I know that is there job!  They were all great nurses and techs.

3/25/11 Dr. N came in told us everything looked good. He would do Zyler circumcision Saturday morning then we could go home if we wanted too. The answer was yes we wanted too. We were surprised he told me I could go up my stairs if I felt like I could handle it. Yay I can sleep in my own bed which Jeff had to help me in because so high. He said just no your limits of what you can and can't do.
Jeff told him thank you for being an awesome Dr and taking time out to care and let him see delivery. I think Dr N was shocked by that. Seriously I loved every moment he just made it so great.

We thought we could get baby but it took for ever for us to get him that morning. We just wanted are baby.

Then pediatrician came in said he looked good and he passed hearing test. Jeff did go down there and he was by himself crying Daddy was not happy. Still waited for baby finally baby came in.

Ms. Stephanie came and visited you and brought you a blue little bible! We love this lady she is such a awesome woman.

The nurse came in and told me I had to take a shower I told her I would take a sponge bath. She looked at me and said you really want to take a shower. They are going to ripe off your bandages over incision or you can pull off in shower which is much better. Well I wised up and said I will take a shower! Glad I did I felt a little better.

Then my BFF Sandy and Mr. Caleb came for a visit. They brought is the best swaddling blanket in the world and this little owl blankie I am sure you will be caring around some day :)

My very close co-worker and friend brought us lunch. So good to see her sweet face and get to visit with her. She was there still when pastor Slayden came to visit we share are faith allot. I was glad she got to meet are wonderful pastor. She is going to kill me if she finds out I put her on the blog but I want her in the blog book when we have it made for this year.

Then one and only Pastor Slayden came by for a visit and prayed with us. We just love this guy he is the best pastor ever.

Then two of my co-workers came in to see us I have pics but they do not want to be on Internet. So we will print and put in Zylers book.

EXCITEMENT OF THE DAY Hoots security foot band came off. So Jeff started messing with it all of sudden we here these alarms going off. Didn't think much about it at first then realized he set the alarm off. We called the nurse station and in came a nurse huffing and puffing they were shutting the floor down. Sorry it was funny but not!

There you have it that was all are company for the day. Well laid around napped watched TV and oh the best part stared at baby Hoot.
Jeff and I had hospital breakfast, lunch, & dinner not bad I pretend we were on a vacation and had room service and we would sit face to face and eat. We had nice conversations not interrupted by anyone.
Ten o'clock rolled around and we sent you to the nursery for the night.
We went to bed I guess I had not taken any pain meds and they just let me sleep. I was in pain and had really bad nightmares. So when morning came I got the pain meds and slept.

3/26/11 Dr. N came in early will not as early as I thought he would some time after 8. He came in with jeans on never seen him in jeans. I had to give him a hard time and of course he enjoyed.
Then came in the pediatrician who said we noticed under his tongue the piece of skin is to far up. We need to clip for better sucking. If you do not do going to be more painful later on and cost more money. We noticed that he didn't eat very much now we know why. So poor guy had to get his tongue clipped too. He did say he is a little jaundice to but not enough to do anything about.
So we waited for you and the nurse got are paperwork ready to come home. I got the tetchiness and whopping cough shot and that really freaks me out. Because if baby gets it very hard for baby to fight and are state is one that has high rate of illness. Nurse said Dad needs to get it too. They don't give it at hospital for Dads you would think they would since they want the mother to have it. The nurse said the same thing.
Then we got on the subject of  Dr. N they of course all love him up there too. This is what they say about him he is a 7 year old  boy in a 40 something year old man body. So true but that is why we love him right?!
Well 11:30 they rolled you in and it was time to go. It was cold outside and we were just so ready to get home. We got all packed up they came and got us and took us to the front and out we went!

Here you are first car seat ride. You did great.

When we got home we had a surprise from Gram &  Brice. Flowers from Brice and frame from Gram. The kids went home with my parents until Sunday. So we had a nice quiet house when we got home.

Your Dad got us home and settled. Then he went to the store to get meds and everything else we needed. He came back we had lunch and he got us upstairs. Were we just enjoyed holding and staring at you. We so in love you Hoot bunches.
Your Dad was holding you and I heard him tell you he wouldn't trade you for the world. Made my heart melt!!!He has been such good Daddy he does all the changing and feeding while I recover. I have done some but not allot.
Here you are getting settled into you new nest.

Your were cranky understandable circumcised and tongue clipped. Would make me real cranky you also went poop allot that you were getting a little diaper rash.

Your sweet brother has called twice to check on us. He has never talked to me that much on the phone before. He wanted to know every detail about what you had been doing. The kids will be home tomorrow.
