My days leading up to the arrival of Hoot

3/21/11 Did not sleep again this was a battle I faced the last three months of pregnancy. I went to work a emotional wreck and made the decision this would be my last day. Sitting in my chair was very hard you moved all the time! I had to lean way back like I was being lazy to be semi comfy. I realized one more day of work was not going to get me where I would feel comfy leaving. I hate goodbyes so not a lot knew it was my last day. I worked late said goodbye to my desk. Went home to know I will have a baby in my arms in 3 days.

3/22/11 Got the kids off to school. Had someone come over and clean floors.Went in to Tulsa to see Dr N my last visit before I have Hoot bitter sweet. He went over everything I need to know about C-Section. Went got contacts decided I wanted glasses so went to Bob Keathley Optians I worked for them in my early 20's.  Got me some new updated glasses my John Lenon ones are not in style right now! I am glad I did wear them everyday much easier then messing with contacts right now. Then drove and got my diaper bag in a different pattern Jeff didn't like the pattern I got as a gift. Didn't think I was going to get diaper bag on back order. But let me tell you Madalan's Hallmark called around and found one at a store that carried them. I will always be there customer they went way out of their way to take care of me. People would ask when I was due and I would tell the Thursday and they looked at me like I was crazy! For the record I am. Then I went home to rest.

3/23/11 Got kids up dropped off at neighbors so they could get to school. Then off to hospital for pre-op at 7:15AM I don't like waiting so the earlier the better. Got out of there went to Wal-Mart killing time so I could go get my glasses. Went to get my new glasses at nine and they wouldn't be ready till noon. So off to Sams club to kill some time. Then back to get glasses. Then to fabric store I wanted to make blanket for Hoot to take to hospital. By the time I got home it was time for kids to get home from school. Called pediatrician office to get instructions on what to due when Hoot comes. Then off to meet my BFF Sandy for pedicure was so nice to sit and visit. Then to have pretty toes too. Umm no nap or resting today. Packed bags for Hoot and I. Waited on my parents to come up then off to dinner we went. Then they went shopping Jeff and I went home. Then I proceeded to sew Hoots blanket. Jeff came down stairs I am on the floor measuring blanket out and he is like what are you doing?? I say sewing a blanket for tomorrow he shakes his head he knows after 17 years of marriage leave the stubborn woman alone ha! I get done he is doing laundry kids and parents get home and it is bedtime. Get in bed not nervous just tired morning is going to come too early.

So Hoot you have a crazy Mama who can't sit still!
